Titans coach wants extra effort from Dorial Green-Beckham

Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Mularkey wants sophomore wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham to put in extra work "when nobody is watching."

What It Means:

"I think it's just putting the work in without being directed by anybody. Doing it yourself," Mularkey stated. "I mean he does do it. I would do it more." Green-Beckham is squarely behind both Rishard Matthews and rookie Tajae Sharpe on the Titans depth chart, as he continues to be plagued by inconsistent play. Despite putting his commitment on display by reporting to camp in great shape, DGB is going to need a pretty spectacular showing in the preseason to open the year with a larger role in the offense.

Green-Beckham currently ranks among our top-50 wide receivers for the upcoming season, projecting him to record 712 receiving yards and 4.66 touchdowns on 46 catches.
