Leon Hall signs with Giants on Thursday
The New York Giants signed slot cornerback Leon Hall.
Hall, who turns 32 in December, is fully healed from back surgery and gives the Giants a true slot corner to go with outside cornerbacks Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Janoris Jenkins. First-round rookie Eli Apple can now be under less pressure to start, and instead learn and not play out of of position in the slot.
Hall played 689 snaps for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2015, earning 55 total tackles, two interceptions and nine passes defended.
