Dolphins sign linebacker depth in Danny Lansanah
The Miami Dolphins signed linebacker Danny Lansanah.
Lansanah is going on 31, and wasn't tendered an offer as a restricted free agent with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier this offseason. He has experience at all three linebacker spots in a 4-3 defense and can also contribute on special teams. This is a quality signing for a team lacking linebacker depth.
Miami ranked just 30th in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points (NEP) per play in 2015. The Dolphins were a woeful 31st in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play.
