Jackson, the Bengals first round pick in the 2016 draft, was likely going to be behind Adam Jones, Dre Kirkpatrick and Darqueze Dennard on the cornerback depth chart, so the concern is more over how this may set back his development rather than how it will effect the Cincinnati defense.
