Jerry Hughes moving to left side of Bills' defense
The Buffalo Bills are moving edge rusher Jerry Hughes to left outside linebacker this season.
What It Means:
He's replacing Mario Williams, who also preferred the left side in the Bills' 3-4 defense. Hughes will be matched up against less athletic right tackles this year, which should lead to much better production in his stat line.
Buffalo ranked 16th in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play last season. Our algorithms project Hughes for 60.14 tackles and 6.61 sacks in 2016.
