Jeremy Mincey

Jeremy Mincey seeking new contract

Dallas Cowboys defensive end Jeremy Mincey is currently missing at Cowboys training camp, as he seeks a new contract.

What It Means:

Mincey is entering the final year of his contract and is scheduled to make $1.5 million this season. He was 11 snaps shy of a $500,000 bonus last season.

Mincey started every game last season and led the Cowboys in sacks (6.0) and quarterback pressures (39). He currently sits atop the Cowboys depth chart at left defensive end opposite Greg Hardy. Mincey will need more help this upcoming year, as the Cowboys ranked in the bottom 10 in schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points and in the bottom five in sacks last season. Our algorithms project Mincey to secure 40 tackles and 7.0 sacks this season.
