Colts say Phillip Dorsett could be 'big-time playmaker'
Indianapolis Colts sophomore wide receiver Phillip Dorsett can be a "big-time playmaker," said offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski.
He saw just 39 targets in 11 games during his rookie campaign, but following Coby Fleener's departure to the New Orleans Saints this offseason, Indianapolis is expected to feature three-wide receiver sets more often in 2016, with Dorsett penciled in as the third guy behind T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief. Playing in a Colts' offense that has a 220-target void to fill from last season, Dorsett should have plenty of opportunity to produce on the year.
Our algorithms are still conservative on Dorsett for the season, projecting him to tally 20 receptions for 242 yards and 0.99 touchdowns in 2016.
