Eagles' not looking to trade Eric Rowe

The Philadelphia Eagles are not attempting to trade cornerback Eric Rowe, the Philly Voice's Jimmy Kempski reports.

What It Means:

New defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz doesn't seem to favor Rowe, and he hasn't been awarded a job based on draft pedigree, but the Eagles are not going to give up on a second-round pick after one season. With Leodis McKelvin locked into one starting spot, Rowe will need to beat out Nolan Carroll for a job.

In 2015, the Eagles ranked 19th in our schedule-adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play metric. Our algorithms project Rowe to earn a major job this year, for 69 tackles, 6 passes defended, and 2 interceptions.
