Braxton Miller

Braxton Miller will be a playmaker for Texans

Houston Texans wide receiver Braxton Miller described himself as a "playmaker," when asked what his role will be.

What It Means:

"I'll play slot, I'll play outside; receiver, running back," Miller said. "Whatever's in the game plan." Miller is still making the transition to wide receiver after playing quarterback his first three years at Ohio State. Nonetheless, the Texans thought enough of him to take him with the 85th overall selection in this year's NFL Draft. Miller is expected to compete for the slot job in Houston, but head coach Bill O'Brien will use him as a movable chess piece, due to his versatility.

Our algorithms going into the preseason project Miller to bring in 6 catches for 71 yards and 0.28 touchdowns in 2016. He's our 143rd-best fantasy option at wideout for 2016.
