Samaje Perine (knee) expected to play in Broncos' Week 14 tilt
Denver Broncos running back Samaje Perine (knee) is expected to play in Sunday's Week 14 game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Perine suffered a knee injury in practice this week and was unable to participate in the final session of the week, but it sounds like the veteran back was able to avoid suffering a serious injury. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter he is now expected to play against the Chargers.
Perine has held onto his role as Denver's main change of pace back throughout the year, mixing in for touches a two-minute drills behind starter Javonte Williams. He's projected for 5.5 fantasy points in this matchup and has a $5,200 salary on FanDuel.
