Lions' T.J. Jones has made big improvements
Detroit Lions wide receiver T.J. Jones thinks he has "made a lot of progression."
Jones has been a puff piece all-star so far this offseason, but there's a good chance he could actually make something out of his hype. There is a huge opportunity behind starters Golden Tate and Marvin Jones in Detroit, and he only needs to beat out mediocre veterans Jeremy Kerley, Andre Caldwell, among others for the slot role. After two lost seasons, the 2014 sixth-rounder could finally be in for a substantial role.
Our algorithm is a little less than optimistic about Jones, pegging him for 20 catches for 274 yards and 1.13 touchdowns this season. He's our 107th-best fantasy option at wide receiver going into training camp.
