Rapoport: Justin Fields (thumb) out for Chicago in Week 7, Tyson Bagent expected to start
Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields (thumb) will not play in Week 7's game against the Las Vegas Raiders, according to Ian Rapoport.
Fields was considered doubtful to face the Raiders after being unable to practice this week due to a dislocated thumb that has impacted his grip strength. With Fields out, Tyson Bagent is expected to be under center. The entire Chicago offense needs to be downgraded for Week 7. According to Rapoport, Fields is not expected to need surgery.
The Bears are 2.5-point underdogs against Las Vegas in Week 7. Their implied team total of 17.50 points is tied for the third-lowest team total on Sunday's main slate, according to numberFire's DFS Heat Map.
