Patriots' Danny Amendola (knee, ankle) says he feels good
New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola (knee and ankle surgeries) says he "(feels) really good."
Amendola said his operations were simply a "couple of minor procedures." The Boston Herald has reported Amendola is questionable for Week 1, but it sounds like that's the worst-case scenario. The oft-injured wideout will almost certainly begin camp on the active/PUP list, and heavy preseason participation seems unlikely.
Among the 48 wideouts to see at least 80 targets last season, Amendola ranked 37th in Reception Net Expected Points per target. Our algorithms project him for 55 catches for 550 yards and 2.5 touchdowns in 2016; he's our 69th-ranked fantasy wide receiver as of right now.
