Ravens likely to start Jerraud Powers at nickel corner
Baltimore Ravens cornerback Jerraud Powers is expected to open the season as the starting nickel corner.
Powers drew rave reviews for his performance at OTA's. He has the upper hand on the nickel role going into training camp. Shareece Wright is expected to start opposite Jimmy Smith.
Baltimore's 0.13 Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points per play ranked 17th in the league last year. Powers earned 52 total tackles, one sack, one interception, and nine passes defensed with the Arizona Cardinals in 2015.
