Cody Latimer looks more up to speed for Broncos
Denver Broncos third-year wide receiver Cody Latimer looked faster this offseason, head coach Gary Kubiak said.
"When you don’t know what you’re doing you get slow, when we first got here, to me, he was playing slow," Kubiak said. "Now he’s starting to play faster." With Andre Caldwell gone, Latimer is competing with Bennie Fowler for the third receiver job. He's in a make-or-break year.
Latimer saw just 12 targets in 2015, but converted them into a decent 0.70 Reception Net Expected Points per target mark. He just needs to maintain that efficiency at higher levels of target volume.
