Seahawks' Richard Sherman not convinced Marshawn Lynch is done

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman isn't convinced running back Marshawn Lynch is retired for good.

What It Means:

Sherman is now the second Seattle player to make this kind of statement this offseason, and even though the team placed him on the reserve/retired list on May 5th, there seems to be some doubt from his former teammates. However, for now Lynch is retired and will not play in 2016.

Lynch was one of the most dominant backs in the game for the early part of this decade and made his mark with several memorable performances. The most iconic of which was his 67-yard touchdown run to clinch an upset Wild Card win against the New Orleans Saints in 2011. Lynch was a First-Team All-Pro in 2012 and won a Super Bowl with the Seahawks in 2013. For now it will be the Thomas Rawls show in 2016. Among backs with at least 100 carries last year, Rawls ranked second in Rushing Net Expected Points per carry while Lynch ranked 28th.
