Chiefs' Clyde Edwards-Helaire has high-ankle sprain
Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire suffered a high-ankle sprain in Sunday night's win over the Los Angeles Chargers, per head coach Andy Reid.
Edwards-Helaire actually played more snaps and had more touches than he did last week, but he left early and was announced out at halftime. Regardless of Edwards-Helaire's injury status, Isiah Pacheco is expected to continue to handle most of the carries for the Chiefs moving forward. He rushed 15 times for 107 yards on Sunday night.
Over the last two weeks, Pacheco has a 47.6% offensive snap rate and he's handled 77.5% of the Chiefs' carries, resulting in 31 carries for 189 scoreless yards. He should benefit from a positive game script in Game 12 against the Los Angeles Rams.
