Raiders' Darren Waller (hamstring) not expected to play in Week 9
Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller (hamstring) "still is not fully healthy" and is unlikely to play in the team's Week 9 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Waller has been dealing with a tough hamstring injury for much of the 2022 season, aggravating the injury when he attempted to play through it back in Week 5. With Waller sidelined, Foster Moreau has become close to an every-down player in the Raiders' offense over the past two games.
Moreau has drawn 14 targets in the Raiders' last two games, but has only been able to convert those into 9 catches for 59 scoreless yards. Still, he'll face a struggling Jaguars defense today that gave up 4 catches for 87 yards to rookie tight end Greg Dulcich when they faced the Denver Broncos a week ago.
