Christian Watson (concussion) in pads at Packers practice Thursday
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson (concussion) is practicing in pads on Thursday.
Watson left Week 8 with a concussion and didn't practice on Wednesday, but it now looks like he might have a chance to play against the Detroit Lions in Week 9. The rookie second-round pick has drawn more than three targets only once in five appearances, but the Lions at least present a favorable matchup if fantasy managers in deeper leagues are in a bye week crunch.
Watson played 66% of the offensive snaps in his debut, but he hasn't been on the field for more than 32% of the snaps in any of his other four appearances. The Lions' pass defense is dead last in numberFire's advanced team metrics and they are allowing the sixth-most FanDuel points per game to the wide receiver position this season.
