Bears' David Montgomery (ankle, knee) absent again on Thursday
Chicago Bears running back David Montgomery (ankle, knee) did not practice on Thursday ahead of Week 4's game against the New York Giants.
Montgomery remained absent from practice on Thursday with injuries he suffered in Week 3. He is not trending in the right direction heading into Friday. Tomorrow's practice report and official injury designation will provide more information. If Montgomery is ruled out, Khalil Herbert would operate as the Bears' feature back against the Giants.
Herbert's Week 4 projection includes 58.4 rushing yards, 15.2 receiving yards, 0.43 touchdowns, and 10.8 FanDuel points. His salary is $7,200.
