Sterling Shepard will get every opportunity to be the Giants' No. 2 wideout
New York Giants receiver Sterling Shepard "will get every opportunity" to be the No. 2 receiver, ESPN Giants reporter Dan Graziano believes.
Shepard is a talented player, but it is not like the Giants have many other options behind Odell Beckham. Dwayne Harris is stretched as a primary target on offense, and Victor Cruz still needs to prove he is healthy and able to contribute.
Despite his small frame (5-foot-10/194 pounds), Shepard has the quickness, explosiveness and ball skills to win all over the field. It would be an upset if he is not the No. 2 option, and out of all the rookie wideouts, he has a chance to be the most productive in Year 1.
