Vikings leave Irv Smith (thumb) off Wednesday's Week 1 injury report
Minnesota Vikings tight end Irv Smith (thumb) was not listed on Wednesday's injury report against the Green Bay Packers.
Smith is expected to play in Minnesota's regular season home opener despite injuring his thumb in early August.
In a potential increased pass catching role as the Viking's starting tight end, numberFire's models project Smith to haul in 3.2 receptions for 30.8 yards on 4.8 targets.
