Giants 'hopeful' Kadarius Toney (leg) plays Week 1
The New York Giants are "hopeful" that wide receiver Kadarius Toney (leg) will be available for Week 1 against the Tennessee Titans, per head coach Brian Daboll.
Toney has been bothered by a leg injury throughout the preseason and he's also coming off offseason knee surgery. If Toney is able to suit up for the Giants' season opener, he's expected to start alongside Kenny Golladay and rookie Wan'Dale Robinson. The 2021 first-round pick was limited to 10 games as a rookie due to various injuries.
Toney is currently the WR46 in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings and the WR44 for Week 1. Over the course of the season, our models project him for 109.6 targets, 68.5 receptions, 762.3 yards, and 3.70 touchdowns.
