Reid: Kansas City's JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) 'should be fine for regular season'
According to head coach Andy Reid, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) "has turned the corner" despite injuring his knee during Monday's practice after the first preseason game.
After a week of missed practices, it appears Smith-Schuster's recovery from his knee injury has progressed enough to play in Kansas City's regular season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers. In a potential breakout role in a somewhat ambiguous receiving group, the 25-year old's average draft position currently stands in the seventh round in 12-team point per reception leagues (via Fantasy Football Calculator).
Smith-Schuster's 2022 yearly projection includes 75.3 receptions for 690.5 yards and 7.7 touchdowns on 115.0 targets.
