Rodrigue: Darrell Henderson splitting 'first-team reps pretty evenly' in Rams' training camp
According to Jourdan Rodrigue, Los Angeles Rams running back Darrell Henderson has "split first-team reps pretty evenly" during training camp.
Per Rodrigue, although Cam Akers is a probable candidate to emerge as the Rams' lead back, "a lot of that is based on Henderson’s health history". With both running backs capable of handling passing and early down roles, Henderson appears on track to play at least a committee role to start the season. Per Fantasy Football Calculator in 12-team point per reception leagues, Henderson's current average draft position presents intriguing upside in the ninth round while Akers' ADP is in the third.
Henderson's 2022 yearly projection includes 163.0 rushing attempts for 696.4 yards and 5.3 touchdowns and 17.9 receptions for 133.6 yards and 1.0 receiving touchdown.
