Schefter: Deebo Samuel won't participate in 49ers' offseason programs
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel is not expected to participate in the team's on-field offseason programs, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
According to Schefter, Samuel is one of three 2019 second-round picks who will not participate in team drills until he receives a new contract from the 49ers. The WR market has exploded this offseason, starting with Christian Kirk inking a 4-year, $72 million deal with Jacksonville before more high-profile weapons received lucrative extensions.
