James Conner (ribs) GTD for Cardinals in Wild Card
Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner (ribs) will likely be a game-time decision for the Wild Card game against the Los Angeles Rams on Monday, per head coach Kliff Kingsbury.
Conner returned from a heel injury in Week 18 and then injured his ribs in the fourth quarter. Chase Edmonds (ribs, toe) will operate as the Cardinals' workhorse if Conner is unavailable on Monday night.
numberFire's models currently project Conner for 13.1 opportunities and Edmonds for 12.2 touches in the Wild Card Round. The Rams had the eighth-best run defense in the league this year, per numberFire's advanced metrics.
