D'Andre Swift (shoulder) returns to Lions practice Wednesday
Detroit Lions running back D'Andre Swift (shoulder) returned to a limited practice on Wednesday for Week 16 versus the Atlanta Falcons.
What It Means:
Swift had been inactive since injuring his shoulder during the Lions' Thanksgiving loss to the Cleveland Browns. He and Jamaal Williams (COVID) could both be back for Sunday's game after Craig Reynolds carried the load for Detroit the last two weeks.
Swift is the RB11 in numberFire's Week 16 fantasy rankings and our models project him for 18.0 touches versus the Falcons. Williams is projected for 8.6 and Reynolds is projected for 3.2 touches. Atlanta is ranked 24th in FanDuel points allowed per game to the running back position this season.
