Garrett Gilbert reportedly named Football Team starter Tuesday versus Eagles
Washington Football Team quarterback Garrett Gilbert is starting in Tuesday's Week 15 game against the Philadelphia Eagles, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN.
What It Means:
Taylor Heinicke nor Kyle Allen were able to test out of COVID-19 protocols, so Gilbert will make his second career start after being signed off the New England Patriots practice squad last week. The entire situation doesn't bode well for Terry McLaurin or Antonio Gibson as Week 15 comes to a close.
numberFire's models project Gilbert for 13.3 FanDuel points on Tuesday night. He has appeared in seven games for his career and completed 23-of-44 passes for 283 yards with a touchdown and an interception.
