Giants hope Sterling Shepard (quad) returns this week
The New York Giants have hope that wide receiver Sterling Shepard (quad) will return for Week 13 against the Miami Dolphins.
Shepard hasn't played since Week 8 and he's only played three complete games all season. Pharoh Cooper filled in as the Giants' slot man last week with Shepard and Kadarius Toney (quad) both sidelined. It remains to be seen whether Toney will be able to return for Week 13.
In Shepard's three healthy games this season, he is averaging 11.0 targets and 8.7 receptions.
