Chiefs' Clyde Edwards-Helaire (knee) uncertain for Week 11 clash with Cowboys
Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (knee) might not be activated for Week 11's game against the Dallas Cowboys, according to Andy Reid.
Edwards-Helaire has been sidelined since Week 5 with an MCL injury. On Monday, Reid told the media that he had a "pretty good chance" to return for Week 11's clash with Dallas, but that tone shifted on Wednesday. Asked about potentially holding Edwards-Helaire out this week due to the team's Week 12 bye, Reid said "There's a chance we go that direction. We're just looking to see how he does this week, and then we’ll go from there. If we feel like he’s not ready, then we won’t put him in there." Expect additional updates as the week progresses. If Edwards-Helaire remains sidelined, Darrel Williams would be in line for another game as the Chiefs lead back.
Assuming Edwards-Helaire is active in a limited role, our models project Williams to produce 43.2 rushing yards, 143 receiving yards, 0.44 touchdowns, and 9.3 FanDuel points in Week 11. His salary is $6,300.
