Bears officially activate David Montgomery (knee) from injured reserve
The Chicago Bears officially activated running back David Montgomery (knee) from the injured reserve ahead of their Week 10 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
As head coach Matt Nagy told reporters this week, the team has officially activated their stud running back from the injured reserve in time for Monday's game against the Steelers. Montgomery hasn't played since suffering his knee injury back in Week 4, with rookie back Khalil Herbert handling the majority of the team's running back work since then. It's possible the two backs split work in Montgomery's return.
As of this writing, Montgomery, who has a $6,500 salary on FanDuel, is projected for 8.6 fantasy points against the Steelers' strong run defense. Our models currently project Herbert for 8.7 fantasy points, while FanDuel has set his salary at $6,200.
