Sammy Watkins (hamstring) returns to Ravens practice Thursday
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Sammy Watkins (hamstring) returned to practice on Thursday.
Watkins may be able to return for Sunday's Week 9 matchup with the Minnesota Vikings following a two-game absence and the Ravens' bye week. Rashod Bateman has been starting with Marquise Brown in two-wide sets and it's not clear how his role will be impacted once Watkins is back.
The Vikings are allowing the sixth-most FanDuel points per game to the wide receiver position this season. Watkins is averaging 2.09 yards per route run on the year, compared to 1.91. numberFire's models currently project Watkins for 3.46 targets and Bateman for 5.93 targets in Week 9.
