Saquon Barkley (ankle) inactive again for Giants in Week 7
New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (low-ankle sprain) is out for Week 7 against the Carolina Panthers.
Barkley has been sidelined since injuring his ankle in Week 5. Devontae Booker will handle lead back duties again on Sunday versus the Panthers. He was vultured at the goal line by Elijhaa Penny last week, but he handled 12-of-15 running back carries and totaled 69 yards on 16 touches while playing 71.2% of the overall snaps.
Booker is the RB13 in numberFire's weekly fantasy rankings and our models project him for 18.2 touches on Sunday. The Panthers are allowing the fewest FanDuel points per game to the running back position this season, but they rank fifth-worst in Adjusted Defensive Rushing Net Expected Points allowed per play.
