Terry McLaurin (hamstring) downgraded to DNP for Football Team
Washington Football Team wide receiver Terry McLaurin (hamstring) was downgraded to a DNP on Friday.
McLaurin is now officially considered questionable for Week 6 against the Kansas City Chiefs, but Washington head coach Ron Rivera said the receiver was sidelined out of "an abundance of caution" after feeling hamstring tightness. Curtis Samuel (groin) has been ruled out and Dyami Brown (knee) is also questionable, putting Taylor Heinicke in a potentially dire spot on Sunday. Adam Humphries, Ricky Seals-Jones, and J.D. McKissic could all be more involved in the passing game if McLaurin is unavailable.
McLaurin ranks eighth in intended air yards (566) and fifth in target share (30.8%) this season, and he is accounting for 46.7% of Washington's deep targets. He has a $7,400 salary on FanDuel in Week 6 and is facing a Chiefs team that has the fourth-worst pass defense in the league this season, according to our advanced efficiency rankings.
