Calvin Ridley ruled out Week 5 for Falcons due to personal matter
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley will not play in Week 5 agains the New York Jets due to a personal matter.
Ridley will not travel with the team to London and the Falcons will also be without Russell Gage due to an ankle injury. Olamide Zaccheaus will be the default No. 1 wide receiver for Matt Ryan, with Tajae Sharpe and Christian Blake also taking on larger roles. Kyle Pitts and Hayden Hurst should also be more involved, as well as Cordarrelle Patterson and Mike Davis.
Ridley is leading the Falcons with a 26.8% target share this season. The Jets are allowing the third-fewest FanDuel points per game to the wide receiver position, but they rank just 17th in adjusted Passing Net Expected Points allowed per play.
