Patriots' James White (hip) expected to miss the remainder of the 2021 season
New England Patriots running back James White (hip) is not expected to return this season, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
White suffered a hip subluxation in Week 3 and was ruled out indefinitely earlier this week. Following further medical examinations, the new expectation is that White will miss the remainder of the 2021 season. With White sidelined, Brandon Bolden, J.J. Taylor, and Rhamondre Stevenson could see additional snaps in the New England backfield.
Through three weeks, White accumulated ten rushes for 38 rushing yards and 1 rushing touchdown, with 12 receptions for 94 receiving yards.
