Pittsburgh's Diontae Johnson (knee) DNP on Wednesday
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson (knee) was a non-participant in Wednesday's practice.
Johnson's absence with a knee injury will be more concerning if he misses more time on Thursday and Friday. Expect James Washington to see more snaps if Johnson is inactive for Week 3's divisional showdown against a Cincinnati Bengals' defense ranked 21st in FanDuel points per game allowed to wideouts this season while Chase Claypool and JuJu Smith-Schuster could potentially see a larger target share.
Claypool's current Week 3 projection includes 4.5 receptions for 57.6 yards on 7.3 targets while Smith-Schuster's expectation includes 5.6 receptions for 43.6 yards on 8.2 targets.
