Jets' Jamison Crowder (groin) inactive for Week 2
The New York Jets have ruled out wide receiver Jamison Crowder (groin) for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots.
Crowder was just elevated off of the reserve/COVID list a couple of days ago, and has been dealing with a lingering groin issue throughout the summer. While there was optimism that the slot receiver would be able to suit up for Week 2, the team may want to give him an extra week of practice to ramp up before activating him for game day.
With Crowder (and teammate Denzel Mims) both inactive, expect to see a healthy dose of Corey Davis and Elijah Moore in the Jets' offense in Week 2. Davis had a standout Week 1 performance in which he caught 2 touchdowns, while Moore drew multiple targets down the field. Davis has a $6,400 salary on FanDuel and is projected for 11.2 fantasy points, while Moore is salaried at $5,000 and is projected for 6 points.
