Jamison Crowder (COVID) ruled out for Jets in Week 1
New York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder (COVID-19) is out for Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers, head coach Robert Saleh announced.
The Jets placed Crowder on the COVID list a week ago and they will remain without him for Sunday's opener. Saleh said Keelan Cole (knee) is headed for a game-time decision, so Corey Davis and rookie Elijah Moore could see sizable target shares in first-rounder Zach Wilson's debut.
numberFire's models projected Crowder for 3.64 targets versus the Panthers. Davis has a $5,800 salary and Moore has a $5,000 salary on FanDuel in Week 1. Per numberFire's NFL Heat Map, the Jets have the fourth-lowest implied total (20.50 points) on Sunday's main slate.
