Darren Waller (ankle) makes return to Raiders practice
Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller (ankle) returned to practice Tuesday.
Waller had been sidelined with a minor ankle injury for the past two weeks, but the Raiders were reportedly mostly just playing it safe with their star tight end. Waller drew 147 targets last season, the fourth-most by any tight end since at least 2014, and the offseason departure of Nelson Agholor could lead to even more volume this year. Per Fantasy Football Calculator Waller's ADP is 2.11 as the TE2 in 12-team PPR leagues.
numberFire's models currently expect Waller to draw the 10th-most targets in the league this season (155.1) and record 109.9 catches for 1,200.5 yards and 7.56 touchdowns. Among all receivers and tight ends who played at least 13 games in 2020, Waller ranked fourth with a 28% target share.
