Colts are expected to retain D'Qwell Jackson
The Indianapolis Colts are expected to keep inside linebacker D'Qwell Jackson.
What It Means:
All of the guaranteed money in Jackson's contract is up. The Colts can save $5.25 million against the cap by cutting Jackson, but with fellow inside linebacker Jerrell Freeman a free agent, Indianapolis needs Jackson in the middle.
Jackson played 1,103 snaps last season, racking up 150 tackles and 3.0 sacks. The Colts' defense ranked 18th in the league in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play in 2015.
