Raiders trying to re-sign Andre Holmes
The Oakland Raiders are trying to re-sign impending free agent wide receiver Andre Holmes, FOX Sports' Mike Garafolo reports.
Holmes would be wise to test the market and see if he can find more opportunity elsewhere with Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree locked atop the Raiders' receiver depth chart and Seth Roberts probably in the lead for third receiver duties. Holmes (6-foot-4/210 pounds) has great size and leaping ability, but he hasn't been able to consistently put it together. The Hillsdale product turns 28 in June.
Holmes caught 14 of 33 targets last year, converting that into 23.97 Reception Net Expected Points (0.73 per target).
