Dolphins' Mike Gesicki (shoulder) has a "real shot" at playing in Week 15
Miami Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki (shoulder) has a "real shot" to play in today's Week 15 game against the New England Patriots per the NFL's Ian Rapoport.
Gesicki was visibly in considerable pain following last week's fourth-quarter shoulder injury, which had the looks of a multi-week absence at first. However, the third-year tight end was able to make a relatively quick recovery in practice this week and is now a game-time decision for today. He'll test out his shoulder during pre-game warmups before the team makes an official decision.
If Gesicki does play, it's possible that he will still be limited in some capacity. FanDuel has set his salary at $6,000, and our models currently project him for just 3.7 fantasy points against a Patriots defense that has allowed the third-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends (7.0).
