Cardinals' Chase Edmonds (ankle) will test his ankle before today's game
Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds is dealing with an ankle sprain and plans to play in today's Week 15 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, but will test his ankle during the team's pre-game warmups.
Edmonds has taken a backseat to teammate Kenyan Drake since the latter's return, but has still been involved in the offense more than most other teams' second running backs and is averaging just under 10 touches per game over the past three weeks. If Edmonds is sidelined, it would solidify Drake as an RB1 play in Week 15.
When Drake has been healthy, Edmonds has found a significant workload in the Cardinals' passing game; he has the sixth-most receptions among running backs this season (46) despite playing behind Drake. Our models currently project him to score 8.3 fantasy points in today's game, and his salary on FanDuel is $5,300.
