Matt Ryan throws 3 interceptions, Falcons fall to Chargers
Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan completed 21-of-32 passes for 224 yards with a touchdown and 3 interceptions in a 20-17, Week 14 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Two of Ryan's three interceptions came on the Falcons' final two drives in the fourth quarter. He had only thrown an interception eight times over 12 games before Sunday. Ryan has now been held to one or fewer touchdowns in two straight games and three of the last four. The 35-year-old veteran may be able to have more success in Week 15 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers if Julio Jones (hamstring) is able to return.
Ryan scored 10.3 FanDuel points on Sunday, his third-lowest output of the season. He is now averaging 17.0 FanDuel points per game (QB24). The Buccaneers rank 19th in FanDuel points allowed per game to the quarterback position.
