Adrian Peterson

Adrian Peterson enters end zone twice again for Detroit

Detroit Lions running back Adrian Peterson rushed 16 times for 57 yards and 2 touchdowns in a 34-30, Week 13 win over the Chicago Bears.

What It Means:

Peterson provided the Lions with a three-yard touchdown in the final minute of the first quarter and a five-yarder in the closing minutes of the fourth. He only out-snapped Kerryon Johnson 32-30 but out-carried him 16-3. Peterson has totaled 112 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns the last two weeks with D'Andre Swift (concussion) unavailable. The ageless veteran will lose most of his value in Week 14 versus the Green Bay Packers if Swift is cleared to return.

Peterson scored 17.7 FanDuel points on Sunday, eighth-most at his position. The Packers are allowing the third-most FanDuel points per game to running backs, so whoever starts for the Lions in Week 14 will be in an advantageous spot.
