Bengals' Tee Higgins salvages day with late touchdown catch
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins caught 4 passes on 4 targets for 44 yards and a touchdown in a 19-17, Week 12 loss to the New York Giants.
Higgins paced the team in receptions and yards while tying Drew Sample for second in targets behind Tyler Boyd (6) in the Bengals' first game without Joe Burrow (knee). He salvaged his line for fantasy owners with a one-yard touchdown catch late in the fourth quarter with the Bengals down by two scores. Higgins and everyone else on the offense are going to have a difficult time yielding consistent production with either Brandon Allen or Ryan Finley under center. That figures to be especially true in Week 13 against a top-tier Miami Dolphins secondary.
Higgins scored 12.9 FanDuel points in Week 12 and has scored at least 11.4 FanDuel points in five of the last six contests. He is averaging the seventh-most yards per route run and has earned the third-best receiving grade from Pro Football Focus among all rookie receivers this season.
