Todd Gurley

Todd Gurley goes nowhere in Falcons' failure

Atlanta Falcons running back Todd Gurley rushed 8 times for 26 yards and caught a three-yard pass (2 targets) in a 24-9, Week 11 loss to the New Orleans Saints.

What It Means:

Gurley was given single-digit carries for the first time in a Falcons uniform and also played his fewest share of offensive snaps (37.1). Brian Hill out-snapped Gurley 46-43 but he only rushed four times and wasn't targeted in the passing game. Gurley actually wound up averaging over 3.0 yards per carry for the first time since Week 5 but he failed to find the end zone for just the third time this season. The entire Falcons' offense should fare better in Week 12 against the Las Vegas Raiders (10th-most yards allowed per game).

Gurley scored a season-low 3.4 FanDuel points in Week 11. The Saints are allowing the fewest FanDuel points per game to the running back position while the Raiders are allowing the fourth-most, setting Gurley up for a potential bounce-back opportunity with likely low ownership. His inefficiency (third-fewest yards per touch among players with at least 100 touches) has been offset by the second-most red zone carries in the league.
