P.J. Walker making first career NFL start for Carolina in Week 11
Carolina Panthers quarterback P.J. Walker will start Sunday in the team's Week 11 game against the Detroit Lions, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Teddy Bridgewater is dealing with an MCL sprain, and after it was originally reported that he'd be able to play through it, the team decided to make him an inactive. In his stead, Walker - who made headlines playing in the XFL this past spring - will make his first career NFL start. Second-year passer Will Grier will back up the 25-year-old with Bridgewater on the sidelines.
Our models project Walker for 240.2 passing yards, 1.6 passing touchdowns, 1.0 interceptions and 17.1 FanDuel points.
